Hand Notes – Abstract Paintings
A series of acrylic abstract paintings from 2018-2019
Lacking of meaning that is ascribed to realistic paintings, Danuta Antas abstract Hand Notes acquire a new significance in the context of a dialogue with the spectator. As a visual form of communication, Hand Notes are a way of catching impressions, recalling memories, searching for the essence of things important to the author. Reduced to pure forms of color, textures and lines, these paintings reflect fully and deeply traces of what reality, every moment, experience, or emotion leave in the depths of a human soul.
