Danuta Antas-Woźniewska is a printmaking artist from Poland. For many years, she worked as an Art and English teacher at various school levels. Yet, at some point, she felt a growing urge to devote entirely to art. In 2007, she left teaching profession and since then, she has been working as a freelance graphic designer. While painting, drawing, writing and fine art photography, they all are her creative outlet. Although she paints colour and monochrome abstracts and landscapes, her old love to black and white traditional printmaking art, etching and aquatint in particular, still can be noticed in her pen & ink fantasy drawings as well as in black and white photography. Danuta’s artistic style can be defined as bold with a soft and subtle touch. Her works range from full of dynamic expression, rich textures, bold brush strokes and contrasting colours paintings that refer to the hectic style of living contemporary people lead, through sophisticated fantasy pen & ink drawings, black and white landscape photography to minimalist colour abstract photography.
